Testimonials
Our 6 year old daughter is extremely shy and often wont talk or respond to people she knows, let alone strangers. I knew counseling wouldn't work unless she felt comfortable enough to talk and participate. I couldn't believe it, but by the end of the first session my daughter was laughing and talking with Robyn. She LOVED going to see Robyn and, to our relief, her meltdowns quickly resolved. --------- Robyn has been a great support for my daugher. She was struggling going into her freshman year in high school and had been cutting. She wasn't sure about seeing a counselor, but she immediately connected with Robyn. She was able to learn some things about her self and how to deal with friends, and seems to feel better about herself. I am happy to say she is doing much better, and we have comfort knowing we can come back if something comes up. --------- Robyn has seen our daugher on and off for the last three years. Recently we had a crisis and weren't sure what to do. Robyn got our family in right away and was able to give us some perspective to make a decision. She rocks! --------- Robyn obviously cares very much about the kids and families she works with. She has a natural way of gently pushing my son to look at things differently, and to try new things, and has helped him learn that some things are not the end of the world. I can definitely say our son would not be the mostly-happy kid he is today with out the help from Robyn. --------- It sounds funny, but we picked Robyn because she has red hair and our daughter seemed to be struggling with her own image of being a redhead. Robyn was able to help her in just the way she needed. Her self esteem got better, she picked fights less often, and was easier to be around. She even stopped wanting to dye her hair black. Thanks Robyn! --------- J was having nightmares and angry meltdowns almost daily. Robyn was able to help us understand how to help him and prevent and manage the meltdowns. He loves coming to her office and especially likes playing in the sand. Within a few weeks we saw huge shifts in his behavior, and he started sleeping better. They are still working on a few things, but the progess has been fantastic.
