Northwest Enterprising Moms
I went to a great event last weekend in Seattle, near Greenlake, for moms and “mompreneurs” hosted by Northwest Enterprising Moms. Held in the rather small Ravenna Community Center, the event promoted businesses either geared towards moms/children/families, or business owned by moms – still with a focus on products for families and children.
I bought a wonderful set of aromatherapy sprays made by a local woman, Darcey Pickard of starjuice aromatherapy to help moms and children relax, especially at bedtime. Other vendors included Sprouts baby food – organic baby food delivered to your door made of local, seasonal ingredients and various photographers, scrap book makers, local baby store owners, etc. A fun and interesting venue that I hope will happen again next year, if not sooner.
