No one provides a manual for how to raise a child. Most parents fly by the seat of their pants until things become unbearable. Parents beat themselves up for not being perfect. Children often want to connect but instead act out or push parents away because they don’t know how to get their needs met. |

I understand that as a parent, you are doing the best you can, and sometimes it can be difficult to figure out what your child or teen needs. I work from a strength-based approach, focusing on what works and identifying the supporting pieces that draw out those strengths. Healthy, happy children have a powerful impact on the world. Children and teens who have strong relationships with their parents and family, and a positive view of themselves, will make better choices, empower others, and grow into thriving adults.
